i can't hear it cuz i'm at work but if so that song as old as hell
b-b-but "Get Off" isn't popular in clubs yet, how can you know its a banger until you see?
i really doubt diddy will be setting any trends with this but if he switches shit up with this, it will be the best thing to happen to music in years
WHAT?!
You see, where he's from...they dance, man.
He's from Harlem.
PS I will not be playing this at a club any time soon.
booooo!!!!
the clubs need it
b/w
i like it (for what its worth)
really interesting stuff. Happy to hear this change...back to the party anthems.
The hood says he claims Harlem only when it's hot, and it's hot right now because of Chicken Noodle Soup.
"My mom, she tapped me on the shoulder and she said...
Get off, nigga.'"
So universal. What parent *hasn't* told that to their child on Christmas morning?
Plus I see an excellent remix opportunity:
Is that what that is?
how did this track happen? is this getting played on the radio? is this playing in clubs?
some artists/bands are just to well known to be sampling... the beatles is one of them, miles davis is another. people who don't even listen to jazz will drop the name miles davis before anything else... of course this kind of mediocrity does not surprise me coming from diddy of all people (the one guy out there who cannot be bothered to even make a sample sound different from the original source).
this hardly even sounds like a song though... sounds like a live radio appearance on which diddy couldn't even bust a freestyle so just kept yelling a "chorus" (if we can even call it that) throughout the entire song... yeah, it's not as awful as the rest of his catalog, but it's still rather halfass.
I like this song like I like Knowledge Me.
a good video will definitely spawn a james brown revival, truth
if this gets proper push and a video, fahgettaboutit
get your james brown records for ebay, stat
I guess he is trying to do something nice/new with that young joc/nitty money
I like this.
as much as i hate bass clarinet, that track is hot as fuck. and i'm definitely feeling puff not rapping.
peace

Yeah, it's sounds to me like he's just trying to cash in on "Chicken Noodle Soup," without being too
obviousbiter about it.I think it sounds closer to cheap than it does .
"his sampling source is too OBVIOUS!!!"
"He sounds like he's trying to bust a freestyle, but he can't!!!"
LOL. Yall sound like Vivaldi fans trying to critique Motorhead.
