I'm afraid this thread is incomplete until Archaic comes in and chides all the white people for being unable to truly appreciate the music played in Day's set, because they are white ... like him.
YAO - just got home. NY was fucking wild but that's to be expected. BigbigBIG[/b] shouts to the whole Rub crew, Catchdubs, Aser & Empanadamn and DJ Mel is the absolute coolest dude you could ever meet. I had crazy fun. I'll post pics tomorrow.
This set had some moments, but if you were there you would know the deal. The actual "set" doesn't start until 11 minutes in or so. Before that is just warm up records etc. Respect to NY.
Yeah, the Kelis song is nice. Never heard that before, thanks for upping that, Day.
For Kelis doing an 80s throwback vibe, this sounds way better than those dry Janet/"Control" type tracks she was doing with The Neptunes on the last album ("Protect My Heart" et al.).

I haven't heard the set but I know this shit will be fire (no overzealous fanboy internet ass-kissing)

Devin the Dude. Came out on 12" as the B-side to "right now"

The track is called "Party" feat. KB and Manchild.
Thanks so much for uping this set! Great stuff.
Is the Rub a weekly thing? You should up these sets on the regular oh
What?!?! Who made that call? If you could up this that would be amazing, I'm all about this type of stuff.
That Alexander O'Neal? vs. Furtado mix is also perfect.
thanks for posting!
