Hey Mack...that Jake Holmes sells for a good bill. OG Dazed and Confused!
That Black Pearl is bangin' too!
nrich finds--->
We got like $115 for it at the end of last year. I don't remember the rest of the record being all that but his version of Dased and Confused is great! Creepy sounding. I wonder if Jake gets mad royalties?
also i read that Jake didnt get any writing credits on Led Zeppelins version of Dazed and Confused. So i wonder if he does get any money from it, i would hope so
what I wanna know though is how are these 2?
you know what they say, "Good composers borrow, great composers steal"
shit, if it was a producer or DJ stealing a tune, no one on here would give a fuck...just sayin'.
He forfeited his credits and royalties.
Bummer.
I want this.
A classic. Brown-eyed soul (*PASUE*) at its' finest.
My copy (meaning the one I borrowed-with-no-intention-of-returning from my Mom) is beat to shit. Plaese to post an MP3 of the soul cut on there. (I can't remember the title.)
I grew up on all of these. I would've had 'em all on 8-track if my Dad didn't leave 'em in the backseat of his car that fateful summer day in '77.

that shit made me laugh out loud
no disrespect.
now let's see this again for no good reason
That Soundtracks is a tough pull. I was in on that auction - you definitely back up your bidding with a little more weight than me!
I was pretty thrilled to find that the first two Silver Apples LP's had miraculously avoided being stolen from my radio station, still in the library after 35 years, so I get to play them (and burn em), if not own them.

None taken whatsoever dude. Good call on that "Floy Joy" record, by the way.
What?!?! is that a Vernon Burch LP I see in there???
