Yo Phill could it be that you mixed it up with one of the best rip offs of a original composition that I know of ??? The track is called "Decision" by Bill Conti. I saw Rocky II the other night on TV and it is used in the scenes where Rocky has to earn money for the new house they bought and because he is not good in reading and doing commercials he is working in the slaughterhouse and cleaning the floor.
That tune is so dope but was not on the Rocky II OST, they released that the first time on the Rocky III OST.
That clip actually sounds exactly like the song "Reflections", which IS on the first films OST lp. (and there is a similar "summer madness"- like riff in the track as well)
