I don't know if this one is underrated, but I never see people talking about it here:

I would like a "Monthly CTI bulletin".......so many albums to listen to that it takes time to really know them......

however a good album is this one

    Art Farmer "Crawl Space"

it has probably some of the best Dave Grusin work playin' rhodes on it !

I had always wondered if my copy were the 1st press. It has green label with record number is CT 1003 ........all the other cti's I have, have that common brown label. They are probably all later release. Did CTI use a green label in the beginning? Mine sure seems like a US press and not any kind of foreign press.

I'm pretty sure it goes: A&M label > green label > yellow/tannish label

I was listening to "Anything Goes" by Ron Carter, not bad record ..........

slightly off topic, from that album I like "Beretta Theme" and the whole " brass heavy-cop show feel" of some others jams in those CTI albums

    as

"power of soul" S/T by Idris Muhammad
"sugar free" off "I hear a symphony" by Hank Crawford

    any other around ?
