Going on a trip next week, and my girl and I wanna get an audiobook for the trip. We decided we'd like something neither of us have read before, and something easy, but enjoyable....but not COMPLETELY braindead. Fiction preferred. She is a paralegal and was kinda looking for a legal-thriller type mystery. She suggested Scott Turow.I was leaning toward William Gibsons newest book "Pattern Recognition".Obviously....we aren't looking to pick up a classic or anything, just some easy entertaining stuff to check out when I don't have that new JohnDoe cd on! Any suggestions?-pj

Stephen King for the overnight shift.

  • You have any of these near you?

You can always rent from them and return when you're done. Sort of like a library although they're all over the country and close to rest stops.

You can also find audio books on torrent sites. Also, I've gotten a few audio books from my local library and just burned them.

Good call on the library. Mine isn't very big but they have tons.

This was great book and really showed Gibson stretching out in new directions while still maintaining the things that make him interesting!
