that makes men colectros. I've noticed that the majority of colectors of things tend to be men, whether its cars, comic books, baseball cards or records? Lets hear what our panel of experts have to say on the subject ....

    An interesting factoid is that men are much more likely to have Autism and Aspergers. Some theorize that this could have something to do with these syndroms being a sort of extreme version of "stereotype male thinking" - for instance, relying on rituals and habits, focusing on details, organising and categorising things, preferring the predictability of aloneness and objects to the unpredictability of social relations. Sounds like some of the collectros out there, wouldn't you say?

    Great point! The first thing that comes to mind is total lack of social conventions found in people with Aspergers and um, some of our dearest collectros.
