It's late in the game, almost Friday but did anyone see the cover of the Thursday paper???There's an article about a small high school w/all the students graduatin' and those are my students on the front page and it is just tooooooooooo dope!!! I am soso proud of them...That article came out on the day of our graduation which just made everyone feel the specialist and that for one day, those young people can feel like the world revolves around them (and it seriously did today, it was a rad graduation ceremon-ay)Anyway, here's the article if anyone is interested. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2006/06/15/BAG51JEH6A1.DTL100% college acceptance, even in a small school setting is seriously and now what this means for me is that it's now officially

    That's awesome!

I work in a small school, part of a pilot program in San Diego City Schools, but we don't have that kind of college acceptance, shoot, we only had 80% pass the CAHSEE, and I don't know anyone going to college- but I teach Special Ed so that's a whole other issue...

  • Congrats. Sounds like an awesome school to be a part of.

    School's out for summer.

    thanks everyone!!
it's nice to sit and chill for a bit- those kids (the ones posted above too!!) have been my students since they were 10th graders...so it's been an intense ride these past few years. as for gpas...i mean the letter grade thing is weird because of course we had to make normal style transcripts for them to get accepted to colleges, so that's not entirely accurate. we didn't always use grades tho which is the weird part.

    back to relaxin.
