Making a CD for my office "hold" music

And I don't wanna put in boring ass elevator music. Recommend some jazzy/funky tunes suitable for business use. I'm putting in "Nautilus," "Holy Thursday" and things of that nature.

    Just in case there's any way you might possibly get busted,
    or you work for a company that takes pains to always do things "the right way",
    do keep in mind there are strict copyright laws against putting licensed songs on your hold music. It's considered some form of broadcast or something and ASCAP and BMI can/will fine/sue if they somehow found out. You can use a feed from a radio station (already paying into the licensing), but cannot originate a feed.

    I was excited the day my agency put me in charge of the hold music. Much less excited when I found out the law and that ASCAP and BMI reps call us regularly so my options were basically limited to either public domain or music beds from companies that specialize in license-fee hold music CDs.     Muffled Jean-Michel Jarre-style Oxygene pastiche German new age porno synth works well for our office system.
