This documentary movie was just offered for download as a torrent at Grey Lodge Gpod Radio, ( http://greylodge.org/gpc/index.php ) ...Just started watching it, and it is a truly amazing documentary... Well, I think it is... Thanks for the link - saw this '68 doc some years back - it's one of Varda's better docs (she being the widow of the late Jacques Demy); not necessarily a fan of hers given her penchant to diverge from the subject matter @ hand (e.g. 'The Young Girls are 25': her look back @ the classic Demy film 'The Young Girls of Rochefort' - instead of offering even more rare footage of Denueve and/or her late sister Dorleac, Varda spent a fair bit of time in the 60 minutes or so meandering through the crowd of present day Rochefort) - her 'The Gleaners & I' is well worth exploring though... The real star of this one is undoubtedly Newton himself...
I DLd it from Karagarga the other day, but I'm so backed up with movies to watch that I haven't had a chance yet. I'm looking forward to it, though.
