    I'm a fan and I think they need more love. We sell them at my restaurant. Not those massive ones though. I saw them for sale at he fulton market, NYC (the big boys) What the hell do you do with them besides some bizzare sexual ritual? You could feed a family of four with one of those.

    clams are cool. i think i prefer steamers. but I think it's really all about these shits...

    barnacles aka percebes (in spanish). as far as i know they're only harvested in the province of galicia on spain's north western coast. and they have to be picked by hand and as far as i know it's stastically the most life threatening job in the world. to eat them you have to bite open the bottom and then suck out the meat from inside whatever that wrinkled shit is. they're no joke though. really clean briny taste like the best oysters. no sure if they exist outside of spain though. i've never seen them in the US.
