How often do u have to shave and what do u use? Every 2 days if I wanna stay clean. But I let the wolf out every now and then, just for my skin to heal.
I use an electric razor every morning. I can't use the straight blades. Gives me a face rash!
I had an electric razor yrs ago, and I felt it didnt cut close enuff. What brand do u have? They're great for quik shaves w/out the whole sink/steam/balm headache.
My gurl got me one of those Braun deals for Valentines Day (with the self cleaning unit). It's pretty nice, but I wish it had a bit more power. It's hardly feels like it's running. I guess I was just use to my old power horse of a shaver that sounded like you were starting up a lawn mower when you turned it on. But it does a nice job.
+ the cheapest shaving foam from Netto (K-Mart equivalent). No aftershave. 1-2 times a week. I'm too lazy to shave every day. I like to keep it stubbly anyway. Sometimes I let it grow for a while, but I always get tired of it when it reaches the beard stage.
anyone use one of these? they look like they pinch. i usually just use a normal clipper.

I have really sensitive skin and tried all sorts of different shave creams and razors until I heard about this guys wet shaving technique. The mach 3 razor actually cuts too close for me and would irritate my skin really bad. Now I use the adjustable razor and best badger brush and won't ever go back.
Good luck to anyone trying to read the whole article! I got about a tenth of the way through it and had to give up. It's still hilarious though!
Gilette sensor excel (no man needs more than 2 blades) and any sensitive gel is on the money for me, but I am intrigued to learn more about this 'true wet shave'.
Where does one acquire these specialist implements and creams?
I guess I'm the only cat on this board that has to use these:
Nah, i use an anti-bump balm too. But not that often.
this isn't a balm or cream though, its the razor. I don't use any post-shave treatment. After shaving with this, I never get bumps. period. it's the only thing that's worked.
I use the Quattro (4 blade) with gillette foaming gel.
But the best investment I've made in my shaving style has been a fogless mirror so I can shave in the shower. Smoothe as a baby's....well, you know. I shave 2x a week.
can't get under my nose with that thing. blade too wide and swivells back too much. i keep it real with the sensor excel o.g.

You wouldn't think someone could write so extensively on shaving, right?
Here is the website you can order all of that stuff from
I was at the mall and my wife was in some make up store. I was waiting for her as she shopped. I almost bought some expensive shaving cream. What was I thinking??? One more thing I need to waste my money on? I almost had a metrosexual moment. So unnecessary. Hell, when I wash my hair I use bar soap. F--- it

yeah, the electric razor is the business. Although, ive taken it one step further and 'shave' useing clippers.
deal is, my facial skin blows up like a strawberry as soon as it even sees a razor and i have a beard anyways, so i just trim useing #'s 1 - 4.
easy.
Thats me exactly. Plus im pretty much as close to an albino without having pink eyes (no melanin, pale blue/grey eyes and blonde blonde hair) so my beard is pretty much translucent at stubble length.
Looks clean shaven but SHREDS collars/scarves like 20 grit sand paper

I go back and forth, using the mach3 or the sensor excel. The Mach3 is good for keepin the baldy.
