Just caught an episode of "Sanford and Son" where BB King guests. He played a fire live version of "How Blue Can You Get". Any other noteworthy appearances by musicians playing live on network comdies/dramas. I think Cosby had Nina Simone and Lena Horne on.

Davy Jones on the Brady Bunch - "Girl, look what youve done to me."
Janet Jackson on Different Strokes =
Rick Springfield on Wonder Woman =
Jermaine Jackson on Facts of Life
Heavy D on that Queen Latifah& friends show

    There's so many.

My all time favorite has to be the Doobie Brothers on "What's Happening". The dude hitting the gong with the flaming mallet set my expectations for a live musical performance right then, and I was only 6 years old.

    Episode list
120 episodes were produced between 1976 and 1980. The episodes are frequently given in varying orders, depending on when they were broadcast in certain markets. For example, the Juliet Prowse and Connie Stevens episodes were the first two produced, in 1976, but the Rita Moreno episode was (generally) the first episode to be broadcast in the USA. In the 2005 Season One DVD box set, Buena Vista Home Entertainment has placed the episodes in production order, not broadcast order.

just a little bit of jokes. Soulstrut gets goes from sensitive to hyper-sensitive everyonce in a bit.

I've never had that kind of fish, it doesn't look like something I'd want to gut. But if y'all know any good salmon recipes I'm here to listen.

Back on topic, does the closing credits of all those In Living Color episodes count?

My personal favorite was the one with the Afros
