There used to be this crazy guy open his house 1-2 times a year in Roswell. Anyone know if that still happens?
Bob? Um, no. I haven't heard anything about that guy in a couple of years. Basically, he went around and gave sports tickets to people working at thrift stores to hold records aside for him. You could go to his house and buy the most beat up records in town for $2 each. I went the first couple of times, and it was always a waste of time and money. Only Applejac ever came up there and that's because I think he actually likes scratchy records. That's not a slight on Applejac, he's great, but I've heard him play some really beat records out.
But, that said, little dudes: ready yourselves for the return.

kidding, but drop me a line when you're going to be around these parts. It'll be good to finally meet you. Just don't expect me to blow up any of *my* spots
There are a few good nights going on here at the moment but I actually can't think of anything great going on this weekend.

Damn! I almost forgot that there is a record show on Sunday at the Marriott in Marietta, I-75 at Windy Hill Rd (just north of I-285). Doors at 10am $3 admission.
Check Earwax on Spring St. (midtown, right off the I-75)

Whatchu know about digging for cassettes?! That's that nextness!"
That's just any average day at Wax N Facts, actually. I think 95% of the times I've been in there, someone walks in off the street and asks about something he's looking for on tape.
More Dusty is definitely gone. There's a boutique sneaker shop in that spot now. Best digging on Euclid Ave is the juke box at El Myr.

Haha... what's really real, though, is William the Wax-n-Facts rap specialist.
Alright, so in addition to the record show, it turns out there was something going on in ATL this weekend. Our new B3 bar, The Blue Room, was host to Bernard Purdie, Reuben Wilson and Grant Green Jr. Of course, I didn't know this until my friend T1 sent me a text message while about 15 minutes before the 9pm show. We got there in time for the 11pm set though
Unfortunately, the record show SUCKED!! I only bought 40 45s and one LP. But there were some international guests filling up suitcases with vinyl as they pass through Atlanta on their way to Austin.

Paging Agent45....
Paging the Mayor of Atlanta, Faux_Rillz
Probably not. What are you looking for? You're probably better off getting tickets to Duke v. LSU and/or WVU v. Texas.
Besides, it will be raining all weekend.
Now why would I tell the game like that?
Try the following:
Wax-n-Facts
Full Moon
Wuxtry
Records Galore

Isn't Faux_Rillz an ex-pat at this point? I have NO desire to be mayor or hold any other publicly elected office, just sayin...
I think he was more making fun of me.

Check Earwax on Spring St. (midtown, right off the I-75)

The new place in town is on Edgewood http://www.isciencerecords.com/
They have a copy of Charlie Earland's "Black Talk" for $40 buy it now.....
I'll definitely be in touch...
MORE DUSTY THAN DIGITAL!
I don't think they're in business anymore. Shocking, I know.
But the memory will live on forever in your MORE DUSTY THAN DIGITAL t-shirt.
Which went well with your "more dusty than digital" record tote.
A trifecta completed by your MORE DUSTY THAN DIGITAL fannypack.
"I keep my cassettes in here, dawg! Whatchu know about digging for cassettes?! That's that nextness!"
Fannypack? digging for cassettes? I think you have me mistaken for Noz.
