I don't anything about these things. What's the soulstrut consensus? Is he a novelty act or is he an important artist? What's his rep on the streets?

  • He makes some decent beats.

    His raps are a gimmick.

No street rep. But I do find him entertaining in South Park sort of way.

    Important...........no.

I too have no idea, but after hearing the man extoll the virtues of Falafel i am inclined to think he is a genius.

Not really, weak beats and pretty much a one trick pony in terms of lyrics...

    i enjoy I Need Drugs

his technical rhyme style is impressive. the multi's are rewindable. the lisp is reminiscent of kool g. his actual rhymes are too gory for me to seriously get into. but his production skills are fully impressive.

I like the beat for "Robbery" but I think it's a beat that was pretty much done before. If I can remember I'm pretty sure it was Bob James too! And yeah, his rapping is definitiley a tired gag, blood, semen, satan, ahh!! oohh!! scary.
Did anyone listen to that radio interview from the other day. Dude is definition of not a good look.

Please to never mention the god Kool G. Rap in any such context ever again.

Even to note that, like G-Rap, the "multis are rewindable"?

Still to today? It was barely funny when it was new like 5 years or more ago.

I like his beats - and I've heard some great freestyles from him as well.
But the guy releases so much stuff that i could never keep up with him.

He also pulled a knife on me during an interview back in 2002. But that's another story.

Thats the only reason why I like him. He's got some bangers. Other than that I could care less.

I would'nt want to tangle with Necro.

that said, i never got into his music, but i liked that little movie he made that fondle em released in 97. "187 Reasons Why"

comparing him to G Rap is a friggin travesty.

I find the guy so repulsive and completely unskilled, that i refuse to ever buy his records to resell and certainly not to listen to. Dude is far from competent in any form, and a sick fuck.

  • one of the reasons why indie rap is embarassing.

i'm sure he'll beat the living fuck out of me though.

He's stuck in a position where he's forced to sell the same album six times a year to the same 5000 people.

    I like Necro a lot.

    ????

    1. i'm merely pointing out that there hasnt been a lisp like this in hiphop since the god.

    2. in no way shape or form am i comparing his "rewindable multi's" to g raps. how did you come to that conclusion? it's a comment on his delivery. not his technique or style OR skill.

    3. i'm not comparing him to giancana. totally different realm.

    stop w/ that

the TELA[/b] poster is THAT RAEL SCHITT.

  • I actually copped one of his albums from a friend a while back. As was stated earlier, his production is pretty solid and he manages to conjure up some decent rhymes occasionally too...

Necro - Dead Body Disposal (this one just makes me laugh)
    Necro - Gory Days

    Non-Phixion - You Got Love
Non-Phixion - We Are The Future

He does a few collabo's on this album with his crew ILL BILL (his bro), Goretex, Sabac Red and DJ Eclipse. I actually like this album, thorough production throughout, somewhat repetitive rhyme repertoire but wtv the beats are what saves them...

    HERE are the tracks mentioned.

    Enjoy
