I'm going to be in RVA this Saturday for THIS:

Mesh & Fatback - you better be there.Everyone else, ditch the zeros and come hang out with the heroes. The Scorpio Brothers basically have the most serious soul & funk in RVA so you have no excuse. Plus every time I've been to one of their parties, they've been totally jammed.I'll likely be roadtripping up there with Miss Shing-A-Ling and that NC soul man of mystery J*son P*rlm*tter. So whether you want to get drunk with us, dance with us, have your pictures taken with us, or just talk about rare 45s all night with us, come on down. I don't bite. I'll just jump on your neck, that's all.

    The sound sucks in there. But it may be better when filled with people. The food is great. Mostly vegan. So I bring my own sausage.

    The Soulstrut factor was negative - mine was the only bid! So I got it plus the Zalatnay "Ha fi?? lehetn??k" for $10/ea. Total price for both? $36 ppd.



    Still, I'll be watching my back in those RVA parking lots this weekend.
