I never thought I would regret missing the Oscars.
don't worry, It was the only interesting thing of the entire cerimony. Although it was very interesting.
BTW Crash winning best picture!?
I mean, I'm not like some people on here that really disliked it, I thought it had it's good points. Overall, even if it wasn't very good at least it might open up some kind of dialogue in the mainstream. But yeah, that movie shouldn't have even been nominated.
As for Crash winning. I thought that was the right decision. But I only say that based on the film standing on its own and not in comparrison with the other films (Most of which I hadn't seen).
It was well crafted, intriguing, shot well, the dialogue was good, held my interests, and the cast was absolutely amazing. (Don't forget they won the best ensemble catagory last month at the SAG awards).
Seems like enough ingredients to be seen as the best film of the year.
So much of it just seemed contrived, or just didn't ring true for me. Plus there were some great movies this year. Brokeback Mountain was much more honest, well written, shot, etc. IMO
Guy looks like he's had a a good deal of plastic surgery. His age seems to show around the eyes but you can almost see the scalpel cuts around his face.

I still can't believe Project Pat was in the same room as Robert Altman.
Crunchy Black giving pounds to Philip Seymour Hoffman?
I can see next year's awards:
And the best picture Oscar goes to... CHOICES III.
best actor. others?
i thought i saw that clooney won best actor or was he best support??
yep, he got best support. i think best actor was the only thing capote won.
Yep. Last sign of the apocalypse.
i`m pleased for philip seymour hoffman.the first time i saw him in a film he stood way out.never seen a bad performance from him.
the film where he was addicted to snorting gasoline was weird.
i couldn't find a photo of him presenting, but the hair, the cadaver complexion, the black suit he was wearing with the silk lapels = vampire

Figure of speech meaning I don't watch TV. I was also busy all day. Forgot today was the Oscars anyway.
NOw and forever its academy award winner Crunchy Blac!
Honestly though, their song was far and away the best one nominated this year so it was cool.
What song was nominated? I'm disconnected...
