We're also having another "little dude". Names have been much harder this time around. Our son's name is Dorian Joseph (I liked it cuz it's musically-related -the dorian mode; plus Oscar Wilde's Portrait of Dorian Gray gave it some substance). So we need something that flows with Dorian. Can't really go with Dorian and Bob, yanno?

    Names we were thinking of:
    Isaiah
    Noah
    Eliot
    Emmett
    Jacob
    Jonah

This one's middle name is going to be Paul after my father-in-law.

Hope some of these helped? Keep huntin'!

  • On the other hand, Goatboy Blumklotz has a nice ring to it.

And it shortens nicely to Goat, Goaty, or simply GB.

  • Before failing out of my ultrasound OB training program recently, I learned that the male weiner in utero is known amongst ultrasound folks as 'the turtle'. Apparently the weiner resembles the head of a turtle.

So your dude could be 'turtle' or 'turt 182' or 'tortuga'.

These are nice. Also: Try Simeon.
    Just don't go with Jephthah.

Scartch Ariel and your talking my kinda names. I love Z names. I always thought a cool girl name would be Zuma (Blumklotz). My number one pick right now is Malik, to which my wife says. "We're Jewish". "But baby we're all people of the Book?". "Shek it*", she says pulling the covers.

    *shut up

My only advice is to stay away from Daniel. It's boring. Besides, a Daniel runs the risk of being called Danny, which, for the first time in my life, is happening. And it's scary. Dano's not so bad.
