What the fuck is with all these people crying?????? Dude was 84 and had been in bad shape for years. He couldn't hold his head up and he could barely talk. Plus, he's had this huge life that is more than most could hope for. Dude was God's rep on earth and if you believe in that stuff he's going straight to heavan and will have his own huge condo up their. WTF is their to cry about? It's the same fake put me on TV bullshit that fuled the Terry S fiasco.Humans are Pathetic!

    That's totally understandable, but none of these people are realated to the pope or have ever even met him. Not to mention the fact that most of these people do not follow the bible as much as they act like they do.

    I just don't understand the point in crying about some one who you never met, who lead a long sucsessful life and dies of old age. That's something to celebrate.

    I seriously feel a lot of these people just want to be on TV. Or just be seen.

    It was funny - I spoke to my Mom about this today. I am not only Catholic, but Itallian.(she reminded me) So, she was all like, "yeah! word is that the next pope is is gonna be itallain. Takin' it back... blah blah blah..."

    To me, he's just another white haired man who thinks abortion is a sin. I live in Orange County. We have enough of them already.

    Huge co-sign. He was the spiritual leader for 1 billion people and has done some pretty remarkable things. He is credited with jump starting the solidarity movement in Poland, which eventually ended communism there and has spoken out against human rights abuses around the world. He has lectured both Bush presidents on their policies in Iraq and the current pres on the Abu-Graeb (sp?) prison fiasco. People around the world absolutely loved him, so it is completely understandable why they would cry.
