    why specifically Gambian?
    wow, thanks guys...
there's a new guy at my work that speaks very little english (is from gambia), and when he heard a ghanan fuzz comp i was listening to, wanted me to find something in that same vein from gambia. personally, i don't think it's a very good look to be like, "oh, you're from ____?! i have some records from ____ too!..., etc" but he asked me if i could find it, and he's a nice guy, so.... thanks again.

super eagles is on the comp. you were listening to- i'm guessing. two or three soul tunes, some very nice afro-latin pachanga stuff. Should be able to score a copy for around $60 - $80.

Ifang Bandi- later incarnation of members from super eagles. if you want fuzz, this is where to go. Two albums- only the first is the monster. Probably $100. some quantity turned up a little while ago but things are hush these days. Great album, very deep. On Griot.

    hope that helps.
