"He had a bruise the size of a snooker ball, with a hole in. He just carried on with the interview while bleeding quietly in his boxer shorts."

aside from some of the novelty parts (old man smoking 50+ cigarettes at a time, black-albio from alabama rapper, and armless funky drummer), this movie fucking sucked. maybe the worst movie i've ever seen. even herzog's robitussin gasmask didn't help to float this turd *ahem* tErd.

I've just added another hero to my very short list.

    Too damn cool.

  • maybe herzog is dead already? the bullet has no effect on zombies.

    or vampires.

Not that it wouldn't hurt or anything, but guys -

when a sniper opened fire with an air rifle[/b].

Yes, a BB gun. It wasn't a real gun. Just for clarification.

I saw it tonight on the Discovery Channel. That was a pretty brutal but intensly coincidental how that guy and his lady died. He reminded me of Owen Wilson.

clarification or not....someone could be shooting at me with a squirt gun and I'd dive for cover....Herzog has never made a movie that moved me, but wow, what a very together guy.

  • Just watch Gummo again. and again.

He worked with Klaus Kinski, so he's used to life-threatening situations. Klaus was even more dangerous than a zombie-bear with a rifle.

i watched it late at night and didnt fall asleep, so i have to say it was pretty good

I hung out with Kinski's son at UCLA, cool kid from Cali and a good actor himself. Last time I saw him he was playing Nosferatu in a smal NYC production.

  • out of curiosity, what movie/documentary is that picture from?

i've seen so many great interviews with him. actually, i think, he was a great guy. very honest at least. often, he got upset for obvious reasons. but i must admit, i like choleric persons anyways.

kinski was a fantasic actor, me thinks.
