here is a new b-boy mix I made for a b-boy battle in my town this weekend. I used ableton live to produce it. I warped every track, made edits and then automated the tempo to make it more diversified. ghetto soul official b-boy mix

yeah, no turntable used at all. at first I wanted to add some scratches for some of the transitions, but then I had problems with stylus, so this is a full-digital-mix.
I'ma burn it to CD and bring it to practice today.

I listened to this in the ride on the way to work. I'm at the 45 minute mark, and I can tell you that this is going to be a very dancable mix. This is some real bboy shit.

yeah that tune was dope as fuck! was it passport? it sounds like it could be placebo - balek part 2.
yes, that passport "jaydoo", the album version. the middle part is bit changed, I split the stereo channel and took the side with the drums and killed the other side with the crazy synth/guitar/? solo and widened it with a short modulated chorus to give it a more stereo sound.

hey! this mix has got me booty shaking in me chair...i will burn it on a cd and see how it goes at a practice session! i am wondering though, why you'd make a make a mix for a b-boy battle. isn't the fun/point being able to see the bboys n girls in front of you and throw the records on live?
