I'm looking for suggestions for dinner for about six (including one baby) in San Mateo. I usually hit up the ramen or sushi joints there but seating for six might be a biznitch. Rep your favorite spots.

  • The downtown area has an excellent taqueria called Pancho Villa, always packed. If you're into sushis try Sushi Sam or Kyoto. North Beach Pizza has decent pizzas. For Vietnamese food you can try Saigon City or Kaz take-out for teryaki chicken. Not far from there El Pollo Supremo has good mexican grilled chicken, Pollo Loco stylee.

  • YOU TALKIN' MY HOOD FOOL!

All those other recomendations are decent, I really don't eat around here but I've heard some pretty reliable folks big-up a lot of the Asian spots.

Uncle Chen's by 42nd is pretty bomb.
