What city is it that he lives in?

I saw Pharoah at the Jazz Showcase in Chicago several years ago and it was one of the best sets I've ever seen. I will always, always remember that performance.

LA. I thought he might have been just visiting but some people from the neighborhood here said he has lived here for a minute. Although multiple houses may not be out of the question either.

I cleaned Sonny Rollins pool BITD. His summer house. Lots of jazz dudes jet set, could be Pharoah's summer pad. Still sweet, should try to snag him for "instore promotion."

  • i met him last year after he played at the temple bar one night. didn't recognize him at first, although i knew he looked familiar. he even played "a love supreme" that night.

Saw him as the special keynote guest at Northeastern U's annual Coltrane
Memorial Concert* a couple years ago. He was killin' it!
Went through a couple Coltrane classics, than did a massive version of
    "Creator Has a Master Plan"

*I have planned on going to this event every year for the past
15 years or so, but so far that was the only one I ever made it to...must
    get priorities straight...

funny, I saw him at the Knit as well, but it was more like 11 years ago...definitely but the details are a bit hazy at this point...

He must do a lot of walking around. I've heard more "I seen him" stories about Pharoah than any other jazz artist. But maybe that's cause he's more recognizable than others?

(I saw him at a jazz club in London, England around 1998)
