I've been in NY for the past week now so I've been unable to listen to any rekkids. I turned on the radio the other night on some random station and got Roy Ayers "hummin in the sun" off the ubiquity album. So that mixed with the sound of traffic and city noice just about melted my face clean off.
Left Banke I pull out constantly, play it, and then for days feel the urge to listen to it again. That's pretty unique. A real "sing along" record, too
hey SoulOnIce- Did you find that starfire in boston? if so...i'm impressed! shit like that rarely turns up in boston and if it does a place like l**ney t*nes or in y**r e*r put that shit right on the 'bay. GOOD RECORD!
I am still trying to sort out my feelings on this one.
and I can't find an image, but I grabbed that professionals from belize 2lp off of ebay, and it's worlds better than on tour. But I guess that isn't saying much. Not funky at all, but truly other worldly ballads w/ a touch of soul. I'm just so confused by it all.
I'm on a serious Neil Young[/b] kick...been having several of his tunes rotating in my head for a few weeks now..."Expecting to Fly" is killing me,getting repeated listens in the evenings..."Needle and the Damage Done", "Like a Hurricane"...
I've been digging on specific songs v.s. whole albums lately.

I still like this stuff a lot. Technodelic is kinda next level. Wire made some amazing records. 154 and Chairs Missing are solid.
Recent find I play much:
Sam Most - From the attic of my mind (on Xanadu). Beautiful flute jazz.
and Ralph Lundstal - Fadervar
