I've been sitting on this record for a while trying to figure out some information on it. I've tried all the usual suspects (ebay, gemm, google, allmusic, popsike) to no avail. Has anyone else heard this album? Did they do anything else good? There's one particular heater (see clip below).Brown Dust - S/T (Family Productions FPS 2701)Location: L.A. Brown Dust - Autumn It even has a tiny break for those into Thanks. PS - Don't mess with cowboys

    Last effort bump.

    Pre-thanks.

  • I just found that one too....

fattest one bar break ever, so distinct...didn't hear it till I got home with the record last week....I remember when I heard those drums on Shadow's lp for the first time, I was all "I wonder what record those are from? that is one of the illest breaks ever..." never woulda imagined he chopped up one bar for it...

All I know is that it's on the same label as the Mama Lion lp which has a dope cover of ain't no sunshine, and the "I know I know I know I know" drums are bonkers, with a ill bass line that comes, too bad she's singing it over top of em....
just found the food forever is a dream lp last night--- $12, those are some bizangin drums!!!
