ok. i need to move my entire collection (maybe 1500-2000) before the end of the week...its only about 120 miles but i dont wanna have to pay much and just use our truck. what is the SAFEST way to do it? ive moved them across town before just having them sitting in the back of the truck (risky but ehh), but when the weather is kinda questionable and its a long trip i feel i should probably take some extra caution.boxes? what? by the way, ive already started moving. so FINALLY i can say for sure that i WILL have high-speed internet by the end of the week at the very latest. FINALLY.

Free overnight delivery.
Get the 16L x13W x 13H boxes.
They hold about 100 records each.
Stack them 2 (no more than 3) high.
When you put them in the truck, put a tarp down first.
(This prevents moisture from leaking in from below)
Cover the top with a tarp as well, for added safety.
Drive slow. No quick left-to-right action.
Stack them neatly in the truck.
So half of one box isn't sitting in the middle of another.
(This prevents dinged corners)
Check on them when you get gas.
Just look in, say hi. Make sure shit's cool.
Drive slow.
Enjoy the ride.
Look at trees.
Lift with your knees.
Go to u-haul and get these boxes. Perfect for 125 or so LP's. Totally worth it. Easier to transport, safer.
Iowa City. 95% of my friends, thousands of cute girls, and its a college town...so i actually find things i want at the music shops.
I used...
You can stack them and they hold about 150 LPs. Great for using at the house also. You can pick them up at Wal-Mart for $5-$7 each.
