    Still a clean one.

Oddly enough I think most albums with open drum breaks aren't really dollar bin all that often. Sometimes.

I guess I would say Little River Band - Man On Your Mind (ick), Stanley Clarke - Danger Street... there are a decent bit of disco late-70s crap drums. I dunno.

They're usable but the drums just aren't that great. Danger Street is what, late 70s, so you got that disco drum sound, and I think the Little River Band one is from the early 80s and the drums sound almost synth.

Wilbert Longmire - Ragtown is another cut with open drums, but it's not exactly a break... i.e. they need some rearrangement. And, once again, that's late 70's I think.

    all day

  • i remember the person that put me up on that anne murray break was saying that that record is sort of rare.

    now 25 copies later...
actually i wouldn't say these are thrift store records since the thrift stores i go to only have mantiovalini records, but you should be able to find these for a dollar at any decent record store.

    10 cc
    roger daltry
    america-slow down
    anne murray-anne
    oc smith with hey jude
    ramsey lewis pops up
5th dimension with rainmaker and feeling good
3 dog night with i can hear you calling
aerosmith toys in the attic and one with lord of the thighs
ambrosia live in la or something like that
black sabbath-behind the wall of sleep (probably the best dollar drums)
mark almond-other peoples rooms (not open but nice break/groove)
    tommy bolin-homeward strut
    allman brothers-live album
    bt express-discotizer
    amazing rhythm aces
    nillson-nillson
    nazareth

i guess you could probably go on for hours with those records.
