montreal spots

would someone be kind enough to point me towards the raers in montreal? i'll be there 23-27 for family xmas.i'll probably only have a few hours on the 26 and 27, so i'd like to hit up the best of montreal. french or english speaking, doesn't matter i can get by in both.thank you in advance.

    Montreal has a few ok stores...

    Primitive (on St.Denis)
    Pop Shop (on St.Laurent ....I Think)
    Le Pick Up
    Paul's Boutique (somewhat messy store...but I found a good Disco 12 there recently)
    Beatnick

    ..and that's it for my knowledge at the moment....used to have some GREAT thrift stores, but as far as i know they are not around any longer.

    better than records, i found delicious french fries.
    danno knows where to get the real deal pastrami deli sandwich.
    botanical garden is groovy - giant cockroaches and stick bugs.
