    Wow....I have not followed Surf news for a long time now, and that's the first story I have seen on the situation. That sucks. I hope those family-owned shops can recover.

    that;s a bummer, but foamboards are primarily used for beginner lessons, etc. Maybe it will be harder to get started for the average person, so you won't have as many people flopping in your wave. People will be forced to start on real boards usually with their friends.

    How does one Actually be rebellious? is it possible?

    I have a friend who shapes boards outta his garage who is gonna be fucked outta business for a while because of this mess.

    dude at the surf shop next to my workplace said boards were jacked up 200+ dollars all over. kinda crazy
