    Even though it would be nice to know for my kid's sake, I couldn't do it. It would ruin the rest of my life, because I would be so focused on knowing that I really AM going to die. Right now, I can just pay no attention.

    Of course, the question is, if you knew the date you were going to die, would you start doing crazy ass shit, and if you did, would it change the date?
