not horn rock. Country instrumentals with funky tinges. I like it.
me too! 615 rules. thats one of those 'tempted to keep re-buying it every time i see it' albums. the other one is good too.
anywayz.. this week was my first chance to dig in many moons. these pix represent a combo of going thru a college DJ dudes CLEAN personal collection, a strut trade or 2 from a while back (thanks again!!!), and a sweet dip back into squirrel storage space land, with more to come ive been told.
that mark lanegan, the modern life is rubbish, and the placebo are all pretty tough. the early oasis stuff dont turn up much anymore either.

for some reason that kool+ gang "the force" is harder to find than any other kool except their 1st... for me anyway. Sound experience got sample action. Ruth C. kills. the J5 is an OG. pastors probly sux but it was on althea so i said what the hell. thats nina's very 1st LP.
unpunched Wonder still in shrink, terry reid is cool stuff, louie bluie is old blues stuff, crumb cover - a terry zwiegoff film, margie and ettas second lps, Ginsberg freakout; elf, myrth, air - one syllable goodies. pierre henry is insane, the purpose should be better but still pretty cool.
art ensemble, r crumbs 1st(!) - not an easy pull, don randi, quill, storm, silk, plumeri greatness, mcCoy, escorts upgrade (you dont want the thrashed other copy), sitar beat greatness, simone, morricone classic
2 milton nascimento brazillian beauties, u.truth, music for robots?!!, adderly upgrade (again, the other copy is too thrashed), FINALLY gotta groove - why so hard to find this one?, Lytle, slaughter, etta, terry OG, ramp OG (finally!), baby huey OG (finally again)

its playing right now. bob crewe production, big 60s pop/psyche sound. pretty good actually! decent songs, big cool organ.. solid drumming. some harpsichord action. not mind blowing but totally solid. no obvious samples or breaks as far as i can tell, no funk. but a solid 'listener'. anybody into 60s psyche/pop/garage/etc would want this to add to their stash. no idea what its 'worth', ive only seen it a few times and cant recall if it was $ or not. id bet not.
