This could be the ultimate diggers guide. You could be anywhere in the world and know of at least one band to keep a look out for.
Is this really a good thing? A cheatsheet? Now herbs all over the world can become shitty ebay sellers.

I think this is some new funk from 2004. and I'm pretty sure "dreskie" is involved somehow.
If we gotta represent the old stuff from Denmark then the first one that pops to my mind is "Bennys Badekar"! Otherwise there wasn't much funk in Denmark.....there was a hippie group called Splask which played a kool and the gang track but otherwise it was jazz or rock music which got funky.
OK, here is the updated list again from suggestions made by Strutters. There are still some blanks though.................., keep em coming!!!

Album called "Cream of the Crop" (Wirl) has nice covers of "Light My Fire" "Aquarius" and "Sock it to Me." Pretty sure its same band as Boo and the Tru-Tones which is another funky one.
If I were doing this as a box, I'd probably put down Lord Rhaburn's "Disco Connection" for Belize. Biased here certainly, but that track pushes "Funky Jive" down a few levels. Too bad he never came that close again.

It's the same group. The did an album before that (self-titled (1967)) under the same name - also on Wirl.

Gus Brendel - Easy Listening Theo Schumann - Beat Embryo - Kraut Emergency - Jazz Rock RC&B - Jazz Certain Lions & Tigers - see above (they are RC&B)
Funk - maybe Uschi Br??ning, Modern Soul Band, Memphis Black, Paul Nero, Kitty Winter, but there probably is no German Funk. Memphis Black comes closest...
