Wanted: Mtume Umoja Ensemble

Anyone know where I can get a copy of this album? Mtume Umoja Ensemble-Alkebu-Lan Land of the Blacks [/b] I am desperately seeking it.... Does anyone know if it has been reissued?

    i just upgraded this week and found a copy without seam splits on the cover. what are you offering? trade? cash?

    It definitely hasn't been reissued, in fact it might never be... the word from Strata-east is they don't have a record of this album being released by them... Perhaps they don't have the masters - I've seen it listed as being released by Third Street, but have never heard of anybody owning a third street pressing.

    i was just asking whether you were offering trades or cash for it.

    both lps are VG++, would have to take a close look and listen. The gatefold cover is pretty much split along most of the seams, but could be taped. by no means a mint copy, but the vinyl plays well and is clean.
