What do think about him? Sometimes I feel the man , but sometimes I don't.

    I have a track by him called 'Kee Ka Roo' that's a real hammond swinger...

    Plus I like the album with Astrud Gilberto...

    He's a great piano player as part of the Milton Banana group, but his solo albums are

    I pull out his version of "Batucada" if I'm playing a balan??o set though...

  • The man's output seems pretty erratic, however, "When it was done" has its moments
    and "Moondreams" is my Fave Wanderley album by far (esp. love it when he switches to
    the electric harpsichord).

    "When it was done" has its moments





    I love the version of 'Ponteio' on that. The orchestration and Wanderley's organ is just on the right side of cheesy, and the mood is nice and subdued. Creed Taylor lench mob, feel free to frown???
