T La Rock - It's Yours (Light Remix)here's a exclusive remix/blend I did of "It's Yours" with one of my existing beats. i've been doing this live and shit fit like a glove so I decided to do it proper. enjoy.

    This is just so strange to get my head around.
    I...think...it's...cool, but trying to extrapolate 20 years worth of it being imprinted in my brain is pretty difficult.
    La Rock sounds almost lazy or wonky over the new track. LIve vs 808 drums I guess.

    Actually, after a few listens it's not bad at all. Well done.
    Was just a wierd mental place of confusion for a moment.

    I dig the beat more than the blend. You ought to just post up the intstrumental. Nice way to work the sample though.

    Same here... wasn't sure at first but after a second listen it really grew on me. I'd like to hear an instrumental too.

    i actually did this blend to post on my website (which isn't up yet...fuck i have to get around to that) to help promote my EP that's coming out on Subcontact (also home to soulstrut's DJ Day) sometime this month. the instrumental to this remix is actually one part from a track off the EP (an early version of this track actually first appeared in a beat post on here a while ago). if you want to hear the regular track...buy it when it drops. it might be kind of hard to get (it's a japanese label) but i'll be able to steer you in the right direction. end of plug.

    i have a full length for female fun that's done as well but it probably won't be out for a while.
