I WILL BE IN AMSTERDAM FROM THE 29 OCT TO 2 NOV.I'M LOOKING FOR SOME LOCAL GOOD RECORD SHOP OR MARKET FLEA.WHAT'S THE BEST PLACE FOR A FUNK NIGHT?I HAVE SOME GOOD WAX WITH ME!IF SOMEONE WANNA MEET ME, JUST LET ME KNOW!

    KidsLoveWax - Gasthuismolensteeg (in the centre, near Damsquare)
    Concerto - Utrechtsestraat
    Distortion - Westerstraat (in the Jordaan)

    there are plenty more, just ask in the above stores and tell them what you're looking for. They send you in the right direction.

    No funknight when you're here. But check out Paradiso, Melkweg, Bitterzoet for a good time.

    When I was there about 7 months ago, there was a dude named Taco that had a funk night... I'm pretty sure he worked at Kidslovewax, or maybe Fat Beats.

    Its expensive.. but not a complete waste of time.

    Man i love that place, ive not been for a few years. I think there's a record shop called sound boutique or music boutique thats pretty near central station. I think they mostly deal with cds so i dont think they would have many decent records for sale, my cuz got a few hip hop 12s from there though.

    Check out the sheeba cafe aswell, my fave coffee shop where u get service with a smile & if its not busy they let u pick cds to play too. Bongs are located behind the counter so just ask.
