I've never really been into Gin but when I used to drink it, I would fucks with Seagram's. I'd chase it with Dole Pineapple juice and be all mellow.

I likes me some occassional gin-and-tonics. My favorite summertime gin drink, which does quite well with the ladies too:

1 part gin
2 parts Fresca
juice from half of lime
juice from half of lemon
shake it
pour over ice

The only tonic we get out here is basically pop under a different name. I like my gin and to adulterate it with lousy tonic is a shame.

I'll drink my gin three ways: on the rock with a little dry vermouth and a twist of lemon; in a negroni, or straight with some angostura bitters (i.e. a pink gin). Incidentally, I visited angostura (now Bolivar) recently and couldn't find any bitters.

As for favourite makes, the ten is too rich for my blood (if I'm going to spend on spirits, it'll be for scotch), i'm happy with London dry and beefeater. Once upon a time I sampled a dozen different gins and was shocked by how different they can be.

OG Tanqueray is tasty, don't care for the '10' variety. Saphire is good as well. Seagram's is kind of a nonstarter with me, will do in a pinch.

Bulbous nose is on order.
