in other words. If you could only buy (and listen) to records made during a certain year only, which would it be? Any genres are allowed, just as long it was recorded within that chosen year.

1988 was my favorite year for records!
Just a few of the classics from 1988 folls.... Feel free to add on to the 1988 list.
1970 or 1971. Honorable mention years: 1968-69, 1972-75, 1977-1980. There were some great records throughout these periods (don't sleep on the late 70's fellas!!!). While ya'll were eatin' pablum (sp?), the Stacks was groovin'!!!!
