speaking of retro fashion...even though its been prevalent the last couple of years (in relation to 80s clothing {20 year cycle y'all}), but there is one aspect that they haven't gotten down with yet, PINK Mesh Tanktops.
i was watching house party with a friend, and i think it was the part when these bad dudes want to crash the party, ("i think i smell...") and the dude was wearing either a mesh or something tank top, and i remember saying "when the hell will that ever come back as a "hard" look?
i can see hipsters rocking that stuff, but i can never see gangstas wearing that stuff ever again...then again i never expected them to wear pink either

That was Paul Anthony, B-Fine and Bowlegged Lou of Full Force...those dudes produced a gang of shit in the 80's, from Lisa Lisa, to UTFO to Samantha Foxx
This is, IMO probably one of the coolest games Ive played in awhile. I got sucked in and played all day saturday. I highly recomend it. It also ties in well with the film. Gives all kinds of back story.
are the changes as bad as i've heard? read that the remake WILL NOT TAKE PLACE IN NEW YORK.it's gonna be a la movie with crips +bloods.any of the la strutters know about this? YES. The director added some bullshit "comic book" animation on top of some the screens when the scenes change.
He tries to explain during the interview that this was his original idea,but its all bullshit because he also says that the Warriors project was not the original project he wanted to shoot. The original movie got shut down so the Warriors was a "might as well do it" film. He didnt realize that it was a cult classic. There was no real artistic investment.IMO The animation/greek story additions are a feeble attempt to "modernize" the film for this generation. In 1978/79 the comic book industry was at a low,plus he showed no/made no allusion to the superhero game for him to make the comicbook changes.....shit iz real suspect. Rockstar showed him some $$$$ and he fell in line.........IMO.
The game iz st8 lava........rockstar did their fuckin' homework.I finished the story in 6 days. 24-7 gameplay.......

Yeah, I was watching it on the PSP the other night and my wife was like "...? That comic book stuff wasn't in the original movie.". It doesn't bother me too much so long as they don't change important ish around.
But really, all I can say is:
GTA: Liberty Stories is fucking RIDICULOUS. I killed the radio and put all my own music in there so now i'm rolling to "Portrait of a Masterpiece", "Welcome to the Terrordome" ("What Planet What Station" ) etc. They managed to port that game in almost every concievable way. Shit is no joke, for real.
