    I find that I usually have to be with a thread from the get go to be able to follow it all the way through, becuase then its little peices at a time and you can follow along with it.

    If I jump on a 6 pager for the first time and start from page one i wind up skimming most of it. most of them are of the "you had to be there" variety to find interesting, i think.

    dont get me wrong, there are plenty of good threads with substance on SS. then every so often you get some tweety bird clock on the wall type shit and you're like, why did I just read all of this and in return feel like I'm a bit more stupid because of it.
