I started making myself blended mixes last fall, to have something to listen to while working from home. I got tired of listening to the same spotify playlists and wanted that classic rap mixtape experience, but my old, irrelevant ass has no clue if anyone makes those anymore. I recently posted some of them up on mixcloud.com. Most are trap & drill, which may have limited appeal here, but here's my latest if there's any interest.
Tracklist:

In a sneaker shop in Amsterdam today with Mrs Duder, and after a while she comes over to me and says “What is this? Isn’t shit like the usual rap music. I really like it!” (Usual meaning I guess trap/triplet flows etc)
I miss the old Strut rap beefs. Faux Rillz, Doc McCoy, Junior + others defended modern commercial rap and often suggested that those not appreciating it were stuck in the past/backpack rap-stans etc. Coincidently they all melted away as mumble rap became a thing, but boy, I'd love to hear what the take is on this:

I just was at a museum that had one of these moving sculptures - damn if this video isn't convincing. They should've made it real instead of convincing CG. Even the lip sync being rough cause of the nature of the moving sculpture lets you get away with a lot.
Appreciated. It was easier to keep up when I lived in L.A., I just had to turn on the radio. Now it's all about perusing Spotify playslists every Friday.
I'm having a hard time reconciling the hip-house (hip-EDM) beat with her voice/flow, but she do be flowin.
This blazin cover of Umi Says is an unexpected treat. But when did Joey start dancing like that? He's got moves to be clear, but there's something a bit Urkle playing MJ about it.
Danny x JPEGMAFIA album goes hoard - hard to pick just one song...
I really like this kind of fucked up noisey almost psychedelic rap
production - it kinda reminds me of a tiny norcal release called Motel
Crew that I semi-firmly believe to be one of the best rap albums ever
made. JPEGMAFIA's verses are kinda washing over me though, like not bad
or good, just not remarkable compared to Danny who sounds as nuts as the
beats.
