I was donning a pair of these yesterday and realised I'd had them 4 years and they are still holding up well.
Plus my Toyota Hilux is coming up to 300,000 KMs and 20 years old and still strong as an ox.

My 1987 Honda XR200R is the most reliable vehicle I've owned and it gets about 70mpg. Not one problem in 9 years:

What about 1200s? Those things won't quit. I'm on my second pair in 18 years. I only replaced the first ones because they were ugly after having been stolen so many times.
I did have a pair of Nike ACG mid-tops with some spd pedal inserts that lasted me 10 years, from Arctic Circle to Barrier Reef and years of muddy MTB rides.
Mistake was machine washing them, the adhesive came apart.
