Hey folks, we got into a song hunt with a coworker at the job, and trying to ID this song in the background during the party scene in Mahogany. Song starts at the 1 hour 18 mark at the link below:



We found some lady on another forum asking for the same song and she got some of the lyrics down:

    Great one, I would like to know too. The instrumental song just before the party scene in the background is great as well. I'm sure I have it in my collection but I can't remember what it is. Maybe some could id this one as well.
