Just heard the sad news that Mark B passed away in his sleep.
Great producer and a UK hip hop pioneer. 
Way too young to go. But the music will live on.

    Yes, this is very sad. He'd been a lot quieter in recent years, but the stuff he and Blade did together in the early 00s was a rare instance of a British rapper/producer team adapting a US template and doing something distinctive with it. It was good to see them both get a little commercial success with it too. RIP

    Sad.  He used to come on here in the early 2000s and start beef with me all the time for having a forum that divulged samples.

    Any news as to how he died?

    I had a vague recollection of him coming on here and beefing with a few people at some point, but I couldn't remember the details.

    All I've heard about the circumstances of his death is that it was in his sleep. Nothing about illnesses or health issues.
