Does anyone know some of the songs used in these snippets from Red Greg's new tape (wtf?) mix?

    thanks for the id! I'm a bit surprised that this is the Sugar Hill Gang... Sounds a lot more like Roy Ayers or Ramp...

    Yeah, its a little gem.

    I often forget I even have it in my collection; A tidy modern soul gem hidden away in my old school hip hop LP section.

    the clip sounds a bit muffled. Does the actual record sound the same?

    Thanks! I need to pull out that made in the usa band record from the shelves and listen to it again. If I remember the right, there are at least two more great cuts on it.

    It's a nice and cheap record.

    Fully agree on that Sugarhill tune. Love that one and have played it for ages.
    Sounds...OK on the LP. Not so robust, but not so bad.
