It's as if someone decided to dramatise that preposterous, fuck-awful Swedish House Mafia documentary from a few years ago.





A journo friend posted this trailer on Facebook this morning, and one of his friends commented that an artist manager he knew had advised him, upon returning from a Stateside business trip a couple of years back, that if he wanted to "absolutely fucking clean up" he should write a totally bog-standard script and hang it on the EDM scene - "they'll buy anything right now." It appears he was right.

    I know you don't play it! But I still can see you going to see it in the theatre even if you have to wear a disguise... Just a gut feeling. You'll sweat the whole time, wanting to clown the movie on Facebook but at the same time not wanting anybody to know you went to go see it... So you come up with a plan- get a friend to invite you!

    I realize how bizarre all of this sounds.

    That, and well-respected DJs who "consulted" or whatever. Then everybody blindly dissing it will backtrack a bit once they find out their friend and/or idol was involved.

    Personally, I think it looks hilarious, and not in a good way. I have no plans to see it. Shit, I already feel dirty for kinda wanting to watch the Entourage movie.
