  • I would really need to know this guy's political inclinations before rendering any kind of opinion on his music...

    First tune was nice before the waltz time/smooth sax outro kicked in.

    Second tune was a decent but unremarkable groover, some dubious sax action here too (non-jazz saxophone is a sensitive issue for me, though).

    I liked the first side, but I would guess it is too bluesy for soul cats, and too soulful for blues cats.
    I thought the second side was terrible.

    Forgettable, but maybe some weird foreign collector might pay a lot for it?

  • First 2/3rds of track one remind me of Tim Hardin (good) but then it totally degenerates.

    Track 2 is a rushed mess but there's a good song under there somewhere.

    I get the feeling he met the band for the first time on the day of the recording.
