Who knows something about Boogaloo Joe Jones?

I'm doing a radio show about Boogaloo Joe Jones but I can't find any infos (beside his records)
Is he still around? Who saw him performing live (I can't find any footage of live performaces on youtube...)?

Any further information about this guitar legend would be much appreciated, thank you very much

    I remember reading somewhere that he became a priest and gave up his evil funky ways, but I can't verify it.
