I need to get me a pompadour like that.

  • Weird...I just snagged that BM&R record today. The previous owner wrote "music to remember" in green marker on the cover.

VERY nice. My most amazing eBay score of the past year or so was for that record. A listing of just "3 sealed LP's" had a sealed OG of the Bettye Swann, sealed John Edwards on Aware and sealed Crown Heights Affair "Dreaming Within a Dream" all for around $30 including shipping...I was just after the Swann, which I was getting as a birthday gift for a very close friend - but once it was in my hands, it was very hard to give away. She was pretty blown away by it, though, so it was worth it. I still can't believe nobody jumped out last minute with the mega $$$ bid to leave me in the dust like so many other times...

so were all those OST's from a store, or did someone you know sell you their collection for $10 apiece?? That's like a full want list of Blaxploitation/funky soundtracks...insane.

yeah this was my priciest purchase of that day at about $7. I was kind of shocked cause the guy I bought it from knew what it went for on Ebay but still sold it for cheap (good karma I guess)
